Make the handover clear
Confirm the order belongs to the right customer and mention anything they need to know about collection or packaging. Follow your approved procedure for any special instructions.
A rushed handover can undo the care you took earlier. Give the customer a moment to notice whether something is missing.
Finish without pressure
Use a simple thank-you that fits your own voice. If a reward or stamp was approved, make sure the customer saw the result rather than promising it appeared when you have not checked.
“Thank you. Your stamp is approved; you can check it on your card. Have a good afternoon.”
Do not make the farewell depend on a signup, review or purchase commitment.
Review the five lessons together
A good welcome gives a clear first step. Listening confirms what matters. A mistake needs an authorised next action. Rewards need honest terms. A handover should finish the visit well.
Choose one behaviour to practise this week and ask your shift leader for specific feedback. The course is complete when you have read it; making it useful happens in the next real conversation.
One idea is enough to start.
Try it on your next shift.
