Define the promise

  • Choose one reward you can reliably honour.
  • Review direct reward cost and operational capacity.
  • Define qualifying purchases and the stamp target.
  • List participating locations and any clear exclusions.
  • Confirm how existing cards retain their published reward terms.

Prepare the team

  • Give each employee the access they need for their assigned location.
  • Practise the short invitation to join.
  • Explain purchase verification before every stamp.
  • Explain who can correct an incorrect approval.
  • Agree how staff handle unavailable rewards or exceptions.

Check the customer journey

  • Verify the business subscription or eligible trial is active.
  • Open the location join QR on a real customer device.
  • Complete sign-in and find the correct business card.
  • Verify a qualifying test purchase, scan the current customer code and approve the stamp.
  • Confirm the wallet progress and business activity update.
  • Verify reward redemption with a designated test card.
  • Confirm that an enrollment QR does not approve a purchase.

Put the QR where it belongs

  • Print the current location QR with a readable quiet zone.
  • Place it where a customer can scan without blocking the queue.
  • Keep a staff explanation close by.
  • Test the printed code before displaying it.

Review after launch

Ask the team what customers misunderstand. Review recorded visits, corrections and redemptions together. Change the explanation before adding more promotional complexity. Use real results; do not invent a customer story to promote the program.

One idea is enough to start.
Try it on your next shift.
